INGREDIENTS

PS: I will not be indicating the quantity of the ingredients you'd be using. This would vary depending on the amount of puff puff you'd like to make.

  • Flour
  • Yeast (the type used for baking bread)
  • Powdered nutmeg
  • Sugar
  • Salt
  • Lukewarm water
  • Vegetable oil

HOW TO PREPARE
  • Put the flour, nutmeg, powdered yeast, sugar and salt in a bowl and mix together

  • Add some water and mix everything till they have blended together. You may use lukewarm water to mix if you want it to rise faster.

  • Mix till its smooth but ensure its not watery

  • Cover the mixture with an aluminum foil for about 1 hour ensuring its airtight.

  • Pour some oil in a deep pot - about 3 inches deep, after it might have heat up, test it by dropping some mixture into it. If it forms and rise up to the surface then it means you are ready to start frying.

  • Scoop some amount of the mixed flour into the pot with your hands. Avoid overcrowding in the pot.

  • Fry till its golden brown

  • And that is it.
