En nuestras muy esperadas vaciones de verano decidimos viajar al departamento de Salto y conocer esa parte fronteriza de Uruguay con Argentina.
Salimos a las 9 AM de Montevideo y llegamos a las 3 pm, un camino super agradable lleno de siembras variadas y bosques de eucaliptos intercalados.
In our long-awaited summer vacations, we decided to travel to the department of Salto and get to know that part of the border between Uruguay and Argentina.
We leave Montevideo at 9 AM and arrive at 3 PM, a super nice road full of varied crops and interspersed eucalyptus forests.

LLegamos a las Cabañas Bry que habíamos reservado por Booking, pequeñas pero lindas y con todo lo necesario para la estadía, dejamos las maletas y salimos en el auto a ver el Río Uruguay.
We arrived at the Bry Cabins that we had reserved through Booking, small but nice and with everything necessary for the stay, we left the suitcases and went out in the car to see the Uruguay River.
Desde la orilla podíamos ver el lado argentino, donde pescaban, nadaban y practicaban remo!

El día dos, nos despertamos y arreglamos para ir al parque acuático Acuamanía, un parque con aguas templadas, toboganes, piscinas varias , tirolinas, puentes y diversos juegos para los niños! a mi hijo le encantó!
On day two, we woke up and got ready to go to the Acuamanía water park, a park with warm waters, slides, various pools, zip lines, bridges and various games for children! my son loved it!
Al tercer día fuímos al Parque Termas de Salto Grande!, Este lugar me atrapó, está en medio de un bosque de pinos y otro de eucaliptos, tiene muchisimas piscinas de diversas temperaturas, hidromasajes, un restaurant donde comimos chivito ( plato típico uruguayo que es como un sandwich con carne vacuna y viene acompañado de papas fritas y ensalada), un puente colgante de madera super genial, toboganes y una piscina de olas.
Generalmente las personas lo visitan en invierno por las aguas termales.
***On the third day we went to the Parque Termas de Salto Grande! This place caught me, it is in the middle of a pine forest and another of eucalyptus, it has many pools of different temperatures, hydromassages, a restaurant where we ate chivito (a typical Uruguayan dish that is like a sandwich with beef and comes with fries and salad), a super cool wooden suspension bridge, slides and a wave pool.
Usually people visit it in winter for the hot springs.
