     Saludos, queridos amigos y comunidad en pleno.

     Les quiero contar que hace algún tiempo comencé a evaluar mi personalidad y a pensar en cómo podría potenciarla si tomara en cuenta los valores que admiro de mis caricaturas o personajes favoritos. Hoy deseo compartirles algunas de mis reflexiones sobre este asunto.

     Greetings, dear friends and the whole community.

     I want to tell you that some time ago I began to evaluate my personality and to think about how I could enhance it if I took into account the values ??that I admire from my favorite cartoons or characters. Today I want to share with you some of my thoughts on this matter.

MAFALDA: Aprender a ser autodeterminada

     Mafalda, es la ilustración perfecta para mí de autonomía y autodeterminación. Quino, al crearla, tuvo en mente un personaje tierno pero a la vez mordaz, que defiende su modo de reflexionar los asuntos de la vida sin hacer caso de lo que la mayoría pudiera concluir. Yo, me identifico con esta caricatura porque veo mi necesidad de autonomía y autodeterminación bien desarrolladas cada vez que puedo expresarme libremente en referencia a mis razones y particularidades, sin menoscabo de mi entereza ante los acuerdos de las masas.

      Mafalda, is the perfect illustration for me of autonomy and self-determination. Quino, when creating it, had in mind a tender but at the same time scathing character, who defends his way of reflecting on life issues without paying attention to what the majority might conclude. I identify myself with this caricature because I see my need for well-developed autonomy and self-determination every time that I can express myself freely in reference to my reasons and particularities, without diminishing my integrity before the agreements of the masses.

DASH: Aprender a ser eficiente

      Dash, es el segundo hijo de la familia Increíble. Él es súper competitivo, tanto que juega a ser atleta, tratando de pasar desapercibido (por exigencia de sus padres) ante las carreras en que participa. Es una caricatura que expresa con claridad la necesidad de controlar los resultados y experimentar eficacia ante los asuntos de la vida. Yo estoy abiertamente identificada con este personaje pues me encanta estar en escenarios en donde mi rendimiento puede ser valorado. Por ejemplo: concursos, estudios, entre otros.

      Dash is the second son of the Incredible family. He is super competitive, so much so that he plays at being an athlete, trying to go unnoticed (at the request of his parents) in the races in which he participates. It is a cartoon that clearly expresses the need to control results and experience effectiveness in the affairs of life. I am openly identified with this character because I love being in scenarios where my performance can be valued. For example: contests, studies, among others.

DORA: Hacer más amigos

      Dora la exploradora, es una chica latina (en esta faceta, ya crecidita), que desde niña busca estar rodeada de amigos, sean estos reales (otros niños) o imaginarios (botas, mochila, mapa…). Nos da muestras de una necesidad intrínseca de relacionarse con los demás, cuidar y ser cuidado y sentirse incluida en la realidad social. Puedo sentirme identificada con Dora pues amo estar rodeada de amigos. De hecho, no me gusta pasar tanto tiempo sola, prefiero hacer honor a mi cualidad gregaria de estar atendida y atender a otras personas, como por ejemplo, mi familia (hijas, esposo, padres, hermano), iglesia, comunidad, etc.

      Dora the explorer is a Latin girl (in this facet, already grown up), who since she was a child seeks to be surrounded by friends, be they real (other children) or imaginary (boots, backpack, map ...). It shows us an intrinsic need to relate to others, to care and be cared for, and to feel included in social reality. I can feel identified with Dora because I love being surrounded by friends. In fact, I don't like spending so much time alone, I prefer to honor my gregarious quality of being cared for and serving other people, such as my family (daughters, husband, parents, brother), church, community, etc.

LADY BUG: Luchar por alcanzar las metas

     Lady Bug, es una chica que recibió un súper poder para defender a los ciudadanos que corrían peligro. Es un personaje tímido, pero que cobra valor gracias a su “miracolous” (poder para convertirse en súper heroína), sin el cual no se atrevería a enfrentarse a ninguna “fuerza del mal”. Lady Bug, tiene 50% de garantías de ganar toda contienda a que se enfrente gracias a su súper poder, el otro 50% depende del valor que la comunidad le provee al confiar en ella.
     Yo me identifico con este personaje, pues aunque no tengo un atributo mágico, siento que poseo dones y talentos con los cuales puedo ganar grandes batallas. Y como el personaje en cuestión, yo me muevo en un 50% gracias a las habilidades que poseo, y el otro 50% por el impulso que me da la gente que me rodea. Estos dos elementos son una combinación perfecta para alcanzar lograr metas, tanto personales como colectivas.

     Lady Bug, is a girl who received a super power to defend citizens who were in danger. She is a shy character, but who gains courage thanks to her "miracolous" (power to become a super heroine), without which she would not dare to face any "evil force". Lady Bug, has a 50% guarantee of winning every fight she faces thanks to her super power, the other 50% depends on the value that the community provides by trusting her.
      I identify with this character, because although I do not have a magical attribute, I feel that I have gifts and talents with which I can win great battles. And like the character in question, I move 50% thanks to the skills I have, and the other 50% because of the impulse that the people around me give me. These two elements are a perfect combination to achieve goals, both personal and collective.

     Y en esta búsqueda por mejorar, mis queridos amigos, se va puliendo la personalidad. Me gusta pensar que todo puede estar mejor, con este modo de pensar cada día crezco y en todas mis áreas encuentro contentamiento.

            And in this search for improvement, my dear friends, the personality is being polished. I like to think that everything can be better, with this way of thinking I grow every day and in all my areas I find contentment.
