Uno de esos viajes que nunca podre olvidar fue el que hice a Catuaro un pueblito mágico, estaba finalizando el año 2016 y en la Asociación Civil Teatro Tempestad estábamos terminando un año muy movido y lleno de muchos cambios, muchos de los actores que conformaba la agrupación emprendieron camino, algunos fuera de nuestras fronteras, y a mi que en ese entonces que no había hecho mas que el trabajo de técnico de sonido me toco montarme en las tablas, aunque no me sentía preparada, luego de algunos ensayos y ajustes creo que lo logramos, logramos presentarnos.

Nos fuimos uno día antes pues el viaje de Cumaná a Catuaro era un poco largo, Andy (Director y actor), Joan (técnico) y yo (actriz), nos llevaba el señor pedro quien era el dueño de la sede de tempestad y que por casualidad tenia también una casa en Pantoño un pueblo vecino de Catuaro. La verdad es que el viaje en carro fue genial, escuchamos música, cantamos y tomamos Furia (licor), creo que tome demasiado y estaba una poco mareada jajajaja mi primera borrachera, de allí nació el nombre a mi personaje Mimo Furia. Esta noche terminamos de hacer algunos ajustes para la presentación, mas que todo a la utilitaria y escenografía pues íbamos a tener una función de calle.

El día siguiente nos levantamos super temprano, desayunamos y mientras esperábamos la hora para salir aproveche de tomarme algunas fotos en el patio de la casa, que por cierto estaba muy lindo. Recogimos todo y nos fuimos de donde estábamos al pueblo de Catuaro eran como unos 45 minutos mas que todo por las condiciones de la carretera. Al llegar al pueblo se sintió una energía positiva, alegre, los niños corrían, en algunas áreas de la plaza estaban haciendo juegos tradicionales, como carreras de saco, volaban papagayos, mucha música.

Nuestro escenario seria literalmente en la carretera, montamos nuestra escenografía, nos preparamos, maquillaje, vestuario y comenzamos la función. Para la gente del pueblo era algo fuera de lo común, algo distinto, los niños se quedaban asombrados pues nunca habían visto un mimo, poco a poco la calle se fue llenando y al terminar la función todos quedaron complacidos, de verdad que fue una experiencia increíble
Our stage would be literally on the road, we set up our scenery, we prepared ourselves, makeup, costumes and started the show. For the people of the town it was something out of the ordinary, something different, the children were amazed because they had never seen a mime, little by little the street was filling up and at the end of the show everyone was pleased, it was truly an incredible experience.
