Every day is a new beginning. To be honest, it sounds very silly to me. I would not take it seriously if someone told me a few years ago that, you can start over your life, every day comes with new opportunities blah blah blah!
But the more mature you become you will understand, how true this is.
It's not like, you can change your life overnight; you can get rid of what mistakes you have made the next day. But you sure can stop worrying them right now. Like you can choose to start a new day without fearing/worrying about your past.
And that's what matters!
Let me give you some examples so you can relate more!
Sometimes you will find how you are holding back emotions. Like you refuse to forgive someone and it gives you pain every time you think of it. You can choose to just forgive and let go. You can start a new day without worrying about them. Or suppose, you made a bad decision the other day and still worrying about it because it creates impacts. Now, you can either choose to worry about it or start over and figure out how to not do that again.
You see, maybe now this 'saying' starts to make sense to you, just like I made sense of it!
You can always make better choices from the next day. Our past doesn't define us if you reflect better in our future. You can make daily resolutions, set goals, try to make yourself a better person. Don't just sit for the big day, like a new year or any special event. You can start over right now.
