This post will wrap up our short little hike to lower and upper Little Qualicum falls. I discovered this place on our way back to the hotel, after the Cathedral grove visit. Vancouver Island may as well be another country to me, every encounter is basically something new — it was very exciting! All in all we spent about two hours here, soaking in the river and a falls, barely breaking a sweat. It was a perfect way to end the afternoon. Thanks for stopping by.

That is one gorgeous fall! It looks like a great place to soak up the sun and relax in the water... Vancouver island sure has a lot to offer, it's a huge place, and sadly I have never made it there myself. Maybe one of these days!
Our Vancouver Island trip was our best to date! I'm wanting to head back next year actually. Still many more photos to come for this trip.
What a beautiful place.. it feels so refreshing and peaceful. This island is truly a gem especially the waterfall which I really love.

No, not so much. One could just sit there for an hour soaking in the scenery.
Nature is truly full of surprises, and my focus this time is on the tree in the third image. It has a unique motif, with many snakes climbing the tree.
I don't think there are many snakes around this area, but I could be wrong. That tree was very unusual, that is why I grabbed a photo of it.
