Today, I found an envelope in our post box ... hmm did I ordered seeds? And yes, it was from @muscara! She sent me Cucamelon seeds. What a nice surprise! 😭I sowed four seeds already in a pot.
Two years ago I sent Shiso, Japanese summer herb to @muscara and @shanibeer. I bought fava been seeds on Homesteaderscoop with STEEM. Ja I'm happy to remember these seed stories on Hive/Steem.
Hive.blog is an online platform but it's nice there is a connection to real world.
I wish this community of like minded people continues for long.
今日、郵便受けに封筒が届いていて、クッション付きの封筒だし種注文していたっけ？と思ったら！針仕事の月曜日でご一緒している @muscara さんが種を送ってくれました！キューカメロンと呼ばれているメキシコの小さなきゅうりです。
調べてみたら日本語では「きゅうりメロン」というのですね。

うれしすぎて早速4粒種をポットにまきました。去年挑戦したものの、植えた一がよくなくてあまり収穫できず、種もとれずだったのでとてもうれしいです。今年はHiveつながりでもらっただけにがんばらないと。
種といえば、@muscaraさんと@shanibeerさんに紫蘇の種を送ったり、Homesteaders' Coopで空豆の種をSTEEMで買ったり、Steem/Hiveでの思い出がいくつかあります。
Hive.blogはオンラインのコミュニティですが、こういうリアルとの接点っていいですよね。この居心地のいいやさしい人たちのコミュニティーが長く続くといいなと思います。
