Lately I went out for seed collection and also seed purchase for this new season raining planting schedule which I made earlier before the rain started the rain actually started few weeks ago but not constantly so I need to schedule my Planting program in order to make two ends meet. today I'm going to talk about how to really identify a viable okra seed it is necessary to have this thought in Earnest before you go into the planting of crops this is because you need to know some importance and disadvantages of planting the particular crop and also in specific time.

Okra to so many people is really advisable to consume maybe for breakfast lunch or dinner whichever way but to grow it as its own methodology which I will Showcase in step by step in this article. I made a counter with a friend she is also a farmer in another country but she has never planted this kind of seed before so for this big reason I will expantiate more on how to identify a viable okra seeds for planting season.

Steps To Identify A Very Good Viable Okra Seeds.

At first it is necessary to check out those seeds you have already in your store or those sit your purchase and a very reliable agro venture store. Here in Nigeria they call it agroventures store because it comprises of so many herbicides insecticides and also seeds. So whichever way you are entitled to buy the one you have interest in. So after this seed purchase, you need to do some certain procedures in order to make it a very viable planting season.

To me this was what I did in order to make a very great observation and also to double-check those viable okra seed necessary available for planting. you can not just plant seed anyhow or just like that you need to be at least 95% sure of what you are planting for the seed. And with this method it gives you 95 to 98% assurance of seed viability.

For those of us who I've never seen okra seed before this is how okra seed looks like and this are the few method of step to take in order to make it if 98% assurance for planting. After I remove the okra Seed from eat Natural Park which was Nylon I had to bring out a little water inside a bowl and pour it a few quantity I intend to plant. After which I left it for a couple of minutes so as for it to differentiate drastically the good from the bad seeds.

After pouring the seed directly into the bowl of water I use my hand to stir it and after leaving it for a couple of minutes I noticed some actually floated while some went down directly instantly.

This is the recommended viable okra seed for planting. And this is also a very reliable seed identification
