HOW DOES TUMERIC EXIST, HOW DOES TUMERIC PLANT PHYSICALLY LOOKS LIKE?
- This is one of the several questions I met on the discord channel. Which also motivate me to speak more on this particular herbal plant. This turmeric plants is one in millions that strive on its own despite the location,soil whether, condition and so on. Why I said this is because I have seen practically speaking with the little experience I have in farming makes me to conclude that, this plant is also a miracle plant. Miracle in the sense that even if just little portion of the turmeric root fall off into the soil it will survive and start to germinate.
This domination is one of the kind. Leading from one generation to another slowly. When I started planting this plant it was just one or two root. And this was how it started. I went to the local market to buy the turmeric roots for making tea concussion. That I always take early in the morning before breakfast. So that was how it started. When I saw that even the reaction on it after it has spent some few days indoor makes me to believe that it can actually grow up even more better outside in a better soil composition.
The growth and development was extremely rapid because within 3 months it has continually spread all over the soil surface which I already planted them. From my observation it is quick to spread. When you have a very good soil composition you will really enjoy this particular crop or plant. Search that even those that come around your farm will be entice and motivated to plant their own.
- As part of the experiment that I made so many years ago makes me to set a corner aside, to grow up just the turmeric plant alone has shown in the pictures.
The turmeric plants leaves are white just like in the case of cocoyam leaf. Although some people actually harvest the leaves for some other purpose in terms of herbal combination. This combination I mean from the fresh leaves, to the dry leaves. All will be added with some another back of tree and the rest.
- The rate at which they are quick to response makes me to intentionally harvest more turmeric roots for usage. I can assure you that when you plant just a root it will spread out within 3 to 6 months such that you will continually have a on daily basis.
It is very important to have this plant in your farm or garden because as it is fresh it brings more about Fresh atmosphere, its also makes around or the environment looks extremely cool with a lot of chances of giving the soil more natural nutrients.
The planting of turmeric may be constant because of the nature at which it survive. The survival is 100% in whichever soil you want to cultivate it. I have done it on Sandy soil, loamy-sandy soil and it germinated well. You can also give it a trial and also motivate other new farmers to engage in this type of farming which is very scarce and rear. You can as well try to picture out some few physical directives that can serve as good motivational means to the novice. These are some of the reasons why I always had more pictures to the community.
