Hi guys!
Today I came to talk a little about how school games work, one of the best experiences I've had in my life!
Who has traveled to the games? Play your favorite sport?
As I mentioned in my introductio, I play basketball ha 5 years ago, I have already traveled to General Carneiro, Castro, Bituruna, Apucarana, Irati and Chopinzinho. (All are in Paraná, Brazil).
Altogether I participated in two championships: JEPS - Paraná School Games and JOJUPs - Paraná Youth Games.
All these games are classified into 4 stages (Municipal, Regional, Macro Regional and Final Phase)
Each phase is played in a city, whoever wins the Final phase becomes the best in Paraná in the sport they played.
In my first year of the championship (2017), we played the JEPs and only passed until the Macro Regional phase.
In the same year we played the JOJUPs and went to the Regional phase, where we lost to 2 teams and won by 1, getting third place.
In the next championship year (2018), we played the JEPs and made it to the Finals, but unfortunately we lost and ended up in 6th place.
In the same year we played the JOJUPs and went to the Finals too, there we won in 3rd place.
Next year (2019), my city gave way to the Finals phase of the JEPs and JOJUPs, so we went straight to the Finals phase. In JEPs we were in 3rd place and in JOJUPs in second.
Unfortunately next year (2020), the pandemic began and the games were cancelled.
Now in 2021, my last year of gaming (since it's only until the end of high school) was also canceled by the pandemic, I was very sad.
When you stop for games in another city, you stay at a local school with several other athletes from different sports and different cities. I made a lot of friendships during these years!
We had to wait in line for hours to shower, we would have breakfast, lunch and dinner in a cafeteria with athletes from the school where we were staying and from other schools as well. We watched the games of other athletes and different modalities and we always went out to get to know the city!
At night, all the athletes from the school we were in would gather in the lobby to play truco and talk!
At the opening of the finals there were even shows!

Hoje vim falar um pouco sobre como funciona os jogos escolares, uma das melhores experiências que tive na vida!
Quem aí já foi viajar pelo colégio para os jogos? Jogar o esporte que mais gosta?
Como já falei na minha introdução jogo basquete a 5 anos, já viajei para General Carneiro, Castro, Bituruna, Apucarana, Irati e Chopinzinho. (Todas ficam no Paraná, Brasil).
Ao todo participei de dois campeonatos: JEPS- Jogos Escolares do Paraná e JOJUPs- Jogos da Juventude do Paraná.
Todos esses jogos são classificados em 4 etapas (Municipal, Regional, Macro regional e fase Final)
Cada fase é disputada em uma cidade, quem ganhar a fase Final se torna o melhor do Paraná no esporte em que jogou.
No meu primeiro ano de campeonato (2017), jogamos os JEPs e passamos só até a fase Macro Regional.
No mesmo ano jogamos os JOJUPs e passamos até a fase Regional, onde perdemos para 2 times e ganhamos de 1, ficando em terceiro lugar.
No próximo ano de campeonato (2018), jogamos os JEPs e passamos até a fase Final, mas infelizmente perdemos e ficamos em 6 lugar.
No mesmo ano jogamos os JOJUPs e passamos até a fase Final também, lá ganhamos em 3 lugar.
No próximo ano (2019), minha cidade cedeu lugar para a fase Final dos JEPs e JOJUPs, então passamos direto para a fase Final. No JEPs ficamos em 3 lugar e no JOJUPs em segundo.
Infelizmente no próximo ano (2020), começou a pandemia e os jogos foram cancelados.
Agora em 2021, meu último ano de jogos (pois é só até o final do Ensino Médio) também foi cancelado pela pandemia, fiquei bem triste.
Quando você para os jogos em outra cidade, fica alojado em uma escola local com vários outros atletas de esportes diferentes e cidades diferentes. Fiz muitas amizades durante esses anos!
Tínhamos que ficar horas na fila para tomar banho, íamos tomar café, almoçar e jantar em um refeitório com atletas da escola em que estávamos alojado e de outras escolas também. Assistíamos os jogos de outros atletas e modalidades diferentes e sempre saíamos conhecer a cidade!
A noite, todos os atletas da escola em que estávamos se reuniam no saguão para jogar truco e conversar!
Na abertura das finais tinha até shows!
