Multitasking is something we think of with computers and people. My computer is pulling in IP packets and refreshing the display seemingly simultaneously. The more proper analog is we are breathing, and our hearts are beating, and we are probably holding in our urine right now, all simultaneously. So we humans also multitask this way.

However when it comes to consciousness, conscious minds are better suited in doing one task at a time.

I agree. There is a book called "myth of multitasking" that explains quite clearly, that what we call multitasking is actually switchtasking. We just quickly switch between to tasks, but we spend energy on these switches.

I might make a separate post about it. These are just the self-motivational ramblings of a madman. :)
