Dreaming A New Dream

You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.” – C.S. Lewis

The technology age of today has been a life-changing experience for a lot of people. However, it can also be a downer for people whose dreams cannot fit into the technology world.

They think technology is too complex, new or they are too old to fit their goals and dreams into the virtual space of today. Most are even very young adults that think time is running out or that they are getting older and don't want to try new things or new inventions that may come their way.

Many have their dreams narrowed down and it's hard to be flexible and set new ones that can better fit into the new world.

The printing press dreams of the old days are gone and those who are passionate about printing paper news can see their passion go down the drain with the virtual news being the new dreams of today's journalists(bloggers). News is now being sent easily and costs less compared to the printing days.

Goals and dreams that people have before the technological age has to evolve and adapt to the new age of information. To be able to set new goals and find ways to achieve them is one of the benefits that come with the technology of today.

However, What the problem seems to be with a lot of people, especially older aged people is that it's hard to change course and adapt to the technology age. Some people's dream jobs were extinct due to technology and that's not something anyone is responsible for. What we are responsible for is ourselves and the ability to set new sail and dream a new dream.

In the information age, it's easy to dream and achieve whatever we put our mind, heart and soul into. Don't let technology or time be a barrier when you can learn anything you want to, set any goal possible and dream a new dream in the new cyber future without anyone caring about how old you are or where you live.

What goals and dreams do you have in the past that you think have been extinct and now have little to no benefit anymore due to technology? Have you discovered a new one to replace them and fit into the new world of today?

You can share them in the comment box.

I believe that it is not only a matter of adapting those dreams to the new technologies, which bring so many benefits but also of trying to combine the advantages and strategies of other times with the new technologies.
I read an article the other day about the advantages of adapting marketing strategies to web3. It is a question of adapting and unifying.

You’re right, there are lots of old strategies that can be unified with today's technological environment.
