From toy souvenirs to a real musical instrument

in Proof of Brain3 years ago (edited)

My friend gave me an old instrument tamburica Samica very small wire instrument and quite old some 30 - 40 years to make something from him

img_0.6706869486901591.jpg

The best to see the size of this faint the smallest wire instrument that in the hands of IMAN first time Tamburica Samica looks like this and I never played this kind of letters and let's do this on it to turn it from a decorative souvenir to a real music instrument

img_0.2523420363709876.jpg

so let's start from the beginning with what it looked like

img_0.5288553733685311.jpg

head di su string peg are bad material and too small for fingers, for a souvenir or model instrument perfectly, yet I can't watch it because they don't work

img_0.075722907872739.jpg

the neck of the gingerbread is in good condition the wire sills are firm and stable and this one wire that is left makes some sound and waits for it to break

img_0.8387084829276705.jpg

it is quite damaged and left without shellac on the side, the bridge is bad in decay

img_0.770511586108023.jpg

it also has a crack

img_0.9682192012207638.jpg

a little more detail to see the sills how much rust did damage if it damaged them

img_0.9766481587953637.jpg

it will come in handy when the whole instrument is polished

img_0.4201519967166508.jpg

to see how much damage the part of the resonant part detached the top plate

img_0.9438333627975991.jpg

There is also life in the instrument which is nice meaning it is dry so good spiders keep the instrument

img_0.6087690819975881.jpg

below it is all right to polish everything a bit and like new

img_0.547741142095919.jpg

this part is from behind where the wires are wound

img_0.12147023680415035.jpg

well not terribly damaged maybe endure, I think it will

img_0.11261690813817739.jpg

yet I'm worried the crack is a bit quite separate

img_0.9622026859108298.jpg

the bridge is despair I eat temporally from bad wood

img_0.6073891134185585.jpg

and the wire is buried as soft as it is and the rust is buried waiting for the wire to break

img_0.4417730063988806.jpg

the upper part where the wire is wound from behind for tensioning looks good

img_0.28600238023879415.jpg

The nut is damaged but it can still withstand I won't touch it for now

img_0.7663086588278057.jpg

the sills are well stuck do not move

img_0.061400735102623255.jpg

cute house lessons

img_0.024146605247253337.jpg

and a disaster hole inside

img_0.03216405848279236.jpg

it's not good at all

img_0.47042469472257653.jpg

I'll review them all

img_0.8917771697295792.jpg

it also deforms and is in poor condition

img_0.08472958865817733.jpg

nor is this one different

img_0.07524189098555556.jpg

look at the pags

img_0.44668986724469023.jpg

despair buried traces of wire

img_0.8639364093050595.jpg

come on the rest is as it is tied

img_0.9248697066852574.jpg

and the hole all the way to the top high let it go

img_0.2913251419477082.jpg

remnants of wire on pags

img_0.9176710627001174.jpg

img_0.9949061823495056.jpg

a resonant hole damaged not protected it will pass with shellac to repair

img_0.30735633928841943.jpg

little decoration

img_0.6566642220232508.jpg

img_0.6245388103839358.jpg

I found old worn violin wedges and served them in a sharpener for a new instrument

two of ebony, two of maple

img_0.33557846806201536.jpg

and said the expansion of the sinuses in the head

img_0.5947255904266229.jpg

a great tool works perfectly when there is no better this one is great and works which is essentially meticulous and gentle

img_0.10599966022431112.jpg

first set

img_0.12585568891899282.jpg

there are more ornaments of a beautiful flower , it even stands up well

img_0.6326985883991193.jpg

it's another turn

img_0.5977323381789835.jpg

and placed a little from behind damaged but not terrible

img_0.1682253728965927.jpg

img_0.8477485757798366.jpg

I'll fix it if it's new

img_0.7709851191441836.jpg

set and third , and the fourth by a wider cone

img_0.2658140811436607.jpg

widened hole

img_0.394779008301479.jpg

the hordes are all and look good nice hunt no air super sticky

img_0.6894216165395501.jpg

little resources out there or it doesn’t matter

img_0.4193015058948134.jpg

when it's done I'm going to glue the crack

img_0.3912792152369354.jpg

I wanted a bone glue glue but complicated and I took the rest of the two-component quick glue just two drops ,and dries faster

img_0.8184570662502961.jpg

and well compressed as needed

img_0.3912792152369354.jpg

this I made the mistake of listening to that part layer of paint painting and it didn't turn out wellk

img_0.7627866733654259.jpg

the paint peels off under load

img_0.12535418184763467.jpg

and when it enters the conical hole so I sanded that part that no color bothers me

img_0.941447593669694.jpg

while it was all drying I started making a bridge out of dried wood roots Maple dry 6 years

img_0.27379488533565927.jpg

it should be carefully removed from the wood and sanded

img_0.4391622553724968.jpg

give it shape and function

img_0.3548059354121078.jpg

then wire channels

img_0.5245251424931259.jpg

img_0.5385722238172076.jpg

when the top is done then it should be shaped to lie nicely properly on the board

img_0.6815191453059651.jpg

lay the wires

img_0.4377070192417813.jpg

when everything is done and the wires are up

img_0.7881174171957004.jpg

bots are polished coated with shellac all damaged to have protection ,
it can be said that it now looks like an instrument

img_0.006587401330794472.jpg

As this was made with a pick for her .
The owner of the instrument made it with a pick

img_0.7030293013071158.jpg

This is what it looks like to see briefly on Hive the process of resuscitation of souvenirs in musical instruments in the process of work with a few photos and a few words of text, TAMBURICA SAMICA .
