Espero que se encuentren muy pero muy bien, con muchos encuentros familiares, reuniones entre amigos, días de reflexión y todas esas cosas que nos dan buenas energías y nos ayudan a ser mejores personas cada día, por este lado nos encontramos muy bien con muchas reuniones en familia y amigos, en este mes se activa para mí desde el 21 de Diciembre dónde le damos inicio a estás festividades de navidad y fin de año en casa de mi hermana mayor, ya se ha echo una tradición muy bonita dónde nos reunimos en su casa par realizar una cena y así darle inicio a las felicidades. Esta reunión que hacemos en casa de mi hermana enorsy la celebramos todos los 21 de Diciembre, hacemos hallacas, tomamos vino, hacemos ensalada, torta de chocolate y compartimos un día espectacular entre hermanas, con mis padres, mis sobrinos y mis cuñados.
I hope you are very but very well, with many family gatherings, meetings with friends, days of reflection and all those things that give us good energy and help us to be better people every day, on this side we are very well with many meetings with family and friends, this month is active for me since December 21 where we start this Christmas and New Year's Eve festivities at my older sister's house, it has already become a very nice tradition where we meet at her house to make a dinner and thus give start to the happiness. This meeting that we do at my sister's house enorsy we celebrate every December 21, we make hallacas, we drink wine, we make salad, chocolate cake and share a spectacular day between sisters, with my parents, my nephews and my brothers-in-law.
Este día tan importante para nosotras, empieza desde muy temprano y está lleno de actividades, primero comenzamos haciendo las Hallacas, que son infaltable en este mes de diciembre, este año las hicimos mi hermana menor y yo jejejeje mi hermana mayor se encargó de realizar el guiso el día anterior con ayuda de su esposo, así como limpiar la hojas de plátano y adelantar todo lo posible para que el día de la reunión no falte nada.
This important day for us, starts very early and is full of activities, first we start making the Hallacas, which are a must in this month of December, this year my younger sister and I made them hehehehehe my older sister was in charge of making the stew the day before with the help of her husband, as well as cleaning the banana leaves and advance everything possible so that the day of the meeting nothing is missing.
Yo me encuentro a 4 horas en carro de la casa de mi hermana, así que el 21 me levanté súper temprano, para pasar por la panadería buscando el pan de jamón que comeremos en la cena y luego agarrar carretera para Carupano. Salimos a las ocho de la mañana desde Maturin y llegamos a Carupano a las 11:30 am, todavía era buena hora para comenzar hacer las Hallacas para la cena, ya mi hermana menor @elizeth está en casa, acomodando todo lo que se necesita para hacer las Hallacas. Bueno descanse un rato y pusimos manos a la obra... Yo estaba extendiendo la masa en las hojas de plátano y me hermana le ponía el relleno, los adornos y las cerraba... Allí las íbamos colocando para que mi cuñado luego viniera amarrarla.
I am 4 hours by car from my sister's house, so on the 21st I got up super early, to go to the bakery looking for the ham bread that we will eat for dinner and then take the road to Carupano. We left at eight in the morning from Maturin and arrived in Carupano at 11:30 am, it was still a good time to start making the Hallacas for dinner, my younger sister @elizeth is already at home, arranging everything needed to make the Hallacas. Well, I rested for a while and we got down to work.... I was spreading the dough on the banana leaves and my sister was putting the filling, the decorations and closing them.... There we were placing them so that my brother-in-law would come and tie them up.
Luego intercambiamos los papeles, y yo ponía el relleno y cerraba las hallacas, mientras estábamos en la haciendo las Hallacas, mis sobrinos estaban jugando y correteando por la casa y esperando un descuido para comerse las uvas pasas o pasitas como le decimos por aquí.
Then we exchanged roles, and I put the stuffing and closed the hallacas, while we were making the Hallacas, my nephews were playing and running around the house and waiting for an oversight to eat the raisins or raisins as we say here.
Al llegar la tarde, cada quien fue esperando el turno para usar las habitaciones para arreglarnos para la cena, y sentarnos a compartir con unas cervezas y uno que otro vino. Lo genial de estos vinos de frutos naturales es que mi cuñado los fábrica de forma artesanal en su casa.
When the evening arrived, everyone was waiting for their turn to use the rooms to get ready for dinner, and sit down to share a few beers and some wine. The great thing about these natural fruit wines is that my brother-in-law makes them in his home.
Así pasamos una noche súper agradable, dónde agradecimos por nuestra unión familiar, por nuestra salud, por el trabajo y por todo lo que esté año nos dió siempre deseando que para la cena del año que viene tengamos más por que dar gracias a Dios y al universo 🙏.
So we spent a super nice evening, where we gave thanks for our family unity, for our health, for our work and for everything that this year gave us, always wishing that for next year's dinner we will have more to thank God and the universe for 🙏.
Deseo que el espíritu de la navidad haya entrado a sus casas y a sus corazones renovando todo ese amor y esa bondad que todos llevamos por dentro. Dónde agradezcamos hasta las pequeñas cosas que tenemos o que la vida nos regala y que el año que viene todo sea muchísimo mejor.
I wish that the spirit of Christmas has entered your homes and hearts renewing all that love and goodness that we all carry inside. Where we thank even the little things that we have or that life gives us and that next year everything will be much better.
