Share knowledge

In my last post for the POB tribe I talked about the importance our social network has in providing us with knowledge. And today I'm going to continue the subject by talking about how to share this knowledge.

Archiving what you've learned is selfish from my point of view, unless your livelihood depends on it, everything that can do good for someone else without harming you should be shared. If you somehow help others without commitment and without profit, the reward is much more satisfying, the feeling of knowing you made a difference in someone's life is indescribable.
Everything I discover again and find relevant, I try to get ahead in my daily life, of course, this with people I know at least a little bit about the profile and I think there is a chance of being interested in what I'm saying. As I work with people and see the same people over and over again at least once a month, I have the advantage of getting to know them a little at a time, discovering their interests in each conversation and exchanging unique experiences.
It's curious how at the beginning of the day sometimes I don't have a topic to start a conversation with and sometimes I talk about the same topic with everyone throughout the day. This happens a lot, because when I am lucky enough to learn something new with the first customer of the day, I spend the rest of the afternoon talking about it with other customers, in addition to sharing, I improve myself even more on the subject. An example of this was the Hive blog, a few weeks ago I had never heard of it, and today I have already shared what I learned about this community, if I may say so, with at least ten clients and friends. If I found it useful for me, it could also be useful for someone else.
But be careful, not everything should be shared, if the subject is private, the person who told you trusted you and keep it secret, if the subject is negative listen, respect and then put it in the trash. Share knowledge, not gossip.
Always have a space in your brain to learn new things and if you think you don't need that information anymore, go ahead before you forget it, someone else might. This is a great habit to keep your mind clear.

Thanks to everyone for reading, and have a great day.

Compartilhe conhecimento
