Lina just finished a call with her mom, sweating profoundly, a million thoughts of what to do next gush through her mind.
She suddenly remembered that she is still single at 29. No man to call her own; her standard is just too high for any kind of man on planet earth to cope with her.
But now she just have to take a man home to introduce to her family by 'hook or crook'.
Her mom just drop the bumb shell on her, when she told her Tina is bringing home her fiancée on the eve of Thanksgiving.
The thought of how she and her sister Tina has been on each other throat ever since high school begins to flash back.
It has never been my fault she said, it was Tina who had always belittled me, wanting to have everything I had and more. She never acknowledged that I'm her elder sister but instead, she's always on my neck proving some endless point even when I tried to ignore her nonsense.
All these years, the enviness of her sister has made her push herself to achive more and more, Lina is now on top of her career with a law firm that comes with mouth watering package.
She was still lost within herself when her phone rang,the person on the other end was Alex her best friend.
Next thing Alex will hear was a scream of 'this is a great problem' Lina could not even relate herself well on the phone so they decided to meet and talk.
Few minute later, they were both at Alex House.
Lina speaking; "I have a problem and I need an urgent solution asap. In fact I don't even know how to go about this. I just cannot be disgraced by my envious sister. She told Alex about how Tina is bringing her man home but she will not be able to stand and let Tina rub it on her face due to her singleness.
Alex devised a plan for her to hire Bob, Lina new Neighbor who has been falling in love with her but she was too proud of herself to give him a Chance.
Bob is a silent millionaire tech guy, who have been hiding his status and squatting with his friend for the past two month in other to be able to find a woman who will finally love him for who he is and not for his money.
Alex and Lina called Bob and told him their plan of hiring him for one weekend to Lina's house to play the role of her fiancée. He was offered a hundred dollars for the job.
And since Bob has been pretending to be jobless and broke, he accepted the offer with a big smile on his face.
