From my chamber: Lack of knowledge is one of the main reason for spreading the corona virus

in Proof of Brain3 years ago

In my chamber, every day I am getting a good number of COVID19 suspected patients. According to me, all are suspected but most of them don't suspect themselves. Whenever I am trying to counsel them about the possibilities of being a COVID19 case, most of my patient is becoming surprised! Am I having COVID? Nah!

COVID19 cases are presenting with a wide range of symptoms. In fact, it may present with any one or a combination of symptoms. Most common are Fever, cold, cough, throat pain, loss of smell, shortness of breath. But I have found patients only with headache who turned out to be the positive case. I also found a patient with only malaise who came back COVID19 positive. We are getting non-symptomatic COVID19 cases as well.

Today morning, One Bangladeshi patient came with Fever, cold, cough and headache. He was already taken medicines from another doctor. His fever with returning after a certain period. So, he became impatient, stopped the medicines given by another doctor and decided to visit another doctor (Me, in that case). I found all the medicines appropriate for him. So, I told him to continue the medicines. Moreover, when I told him about the possibilities of being a COVID19 case, he was kinda shocked!! Looked like he had firmed belief that he couldn't have the virus, guaranteed!!

Most of the people who are having one or a few symptoms of viral fever, aren't taking it seriously from the beginning. They are not staying in an isolated room. They are working with others and staying in the same room with others. As a result, they are spreading the virus from one to another.

Another group of people, mostly Omani, who have got the Pfizer vaccine, think that they can't have the virus. Other previous COVID19 patient groups think that they are immune to the virus. So, when these groups are having the symptoms, they also aren't taking it seriously at first. As a net result, all efforts to contain the virus are in vain.

Actually, the rule is: If anyone has a fever or any other symptoms, like that of a viral illness, it needs to be considered as a COVID19 case unless proved otherwise. However, we are not following the rule, hence, the situation is not improving around us.

Do you know that we have another community (I am alive challenge) or tribe (We Are Alive) and it is easy to participate? You have to just tell the world that you are alive. Follow these easy steps mentioned in the following image

I am also known some people who was suffered (now they are all right and recovered) from Covid19 but at he beginning they don't believe the symptoms. In one case they have given the sample what checking for the small sense again and again (as per him if they have the small sense that mean they are ok ), but the lost of small or taste are the one symptom and their are many more like as you mentions fever, headache also.

And yes the another one very important point you have highlighted that the people already taken the vaccination they think they are now fully immune which is not correct.
Prevention is the best practice in this case.

Loss of sense of smell, which is known as anosmia, is one of the many symptoms suggestive of covid. The presence of smell is not enough to declare as a covid negative if they have other symptoms.

Thanks for reading my post and make a comment.

I know that you are right. It must have so hard but necessary to point out this. As far as I know my relatives have been doing the right thing to protect. Sadly a friends from another part of our country USA have had. Loves go through it and have lost some. I agree on still being part of the safety rules even tho am vaccinated.

Regarding vaccinated people, this Facebook status from a doctor working in a Hospital in Oman, is enough to understand the situation.

Yes. We are somewhat responsible for the current pandemic situation. Sometimes willingly or Sometimes unwantedly we are worsening the situation.
