And they are not the only fragments of space debris that are in the news these days, in the end it has been confirmed that the remains found on a farm in New South Wales in Australia correspond to a part of a SpaceX dragon ship, a ship that transported astronauts to the international space station these remains had been in space since November 2020 and entered the atmosphere on July 9.

The chances of a person being injured by a piece of space junk are extremely small but that small thing is getting less small every day due to the enormous development of the spaceflight industry and it is not only a growing problem for our heads, space junk it is also a risk for the rest of the satellites, ships and space stations that orbit the earth.
Space agencies are looking for solutions from creating satellites with materials that disintegrate easily when they enter the atmosphere, to ships that collect space debris and throw it in safe AND unpopulated areas such as the South Pacific.
