Unfortunately, here in Brazil, oppression for the unvaccinated is advancing. In several Brazilian states, health passports or proof of vaccination against COVID-19 are now required to have access to events (social and sports), as well as, in other situations such as restaurants, bars, bakeries and markets that require proof of immunization of your customers to have access to their products and services.
If a company fails to comply with the government's measure of not allowing the entry of unvaccinated people, can pay a high fine.
These measures are, in my view, discriminatory, arbitrary and fascist. No one can prevent an individual from entering or not entering a place based on health evidence for a vaccine that is still experimental and lacks conclusive efficacy and safety studies.
The moment, personally speaking, is one of apprehension.
Apprehension because I don't intend to get vaccinated, and I also keep thinking about how my life in society will be without being vaccinated. I wonder what the next steps are for this repression and mandatory government imposed.
Are they going to prevent me from leaving the house, from going to the market to buy food, in short, from living in this world?
The scenario is worrisome, and in all our freedom is increasingly stifled.
