This was my view of the moon rising above the tree line from my bedroom window last Sunday night. If you look closely you can also see 2 stars from the constellation Aries above and to the left. The lower star is Sheratan and the one above is Hamal. Astronomy is a new hobby i am excited to be getting into, And I’ll have more sky photos to share once i get my telescope set up, i can’t wait! :)

I also spotted a very nice full moon when cycling home from work today.

Awesome, and thanks! I was going to wait to submit a photo until i got my camera mount for my telescope, but it hasn’t shipped yet. I’m excited to see what quality pictures i will get of some nebulas and the Milky Way 😁

Is it dark enough where you live? We have quite a lot of so-called 'light pollution' here.
Where my house is there is slightly significant light pollution, but i can drive about 45 minutes to where it is very dark. Hopefully taking a camping trip soon to get some amazing views. 😁
