com as mesmas palavras, era um rádio ouvinte
houve uma afirmação, você era uma afirmação
e tão impossivelmente coincidente, a resposta,
que minha afirmação foi lapidada, confirmada
derretida, fundida, transformada numa arma...
uma espada sem fio ou umas flechas sem pontas.
Eu lembro desse dia...
deitada aqui embaixo,
a árvore agora cresceu
o meu amor cresceu...
nos dois sentidos possíveis, e ainda ambiguamente.

and so impossibly coincident was, the answer,
thet my affirmation was faceted, confirmed
melted, cast, transformed into a weapon...
an unsharpened sword, or some blunt arrows.
I remember that day...
laying down here,
the tree has grown
my love has grown...
in the two possible meanings, and still ambiguously.
