This is a third day since I am learning the tricks and capabilities of my latest toy
the DJI POCKET 2 photo/video camera.
It is hard to believe, how much various powerful features DJI gave me in this tiny 117 gram device.
Besides the obvious 3-axis stabilizing gumball, it brings 93° angle view 4K UHD 60fps video with autofocus, active-tracking & HDR, 64MP still pictures (9216×6912), can work non stop 140 minutes, with super short and long exposures.
It also features AI editor, Timelapse, Hyperlapse, Motionlapse, Slowmotion (8x), live streaming, WiFi-link, wireless microphone, 4-way Matrix Stereo, selfie 3-5-7 sec delays, two Panorama modes (3x3 & 180°)
Taskmaster's regular video clips were one of the major inspirational thing for me to get this mind-blowing gadget.
I hope it will not take to long to see the first clips made with it on Hive/Leo/Pob.
I love DJI Products. This one is so tiny, literally fits in your pocket. I am looking forward to seeing your videos using this one.

How does this camera compare to GoPro? Is it an action camera? Can it be mounted on a helmet?
I guess it can operate without all the things you are showing us in the photos too.

To answer my own question ->
Pocket 2 is better in almost every situation except rain and snow since it's not waterproof.
Yes, this video answers most of the questions. The one and ONLY advantage GoPro has (waterproof) can be solved with an optional Pocket-2 underwater case for just $55. Ad this, and there is not advantages left on GoPro.
To me choosing DJI was no brainer. Not only at a very similar prices between these two, but I would preferer DJI even at 1.5 TIMES higher price of the GoPro Black9

What about the helmet mount? I suppose DJI can't be mounted on the top of your helmet?
I have GoPro Hero Black 7 and I'll probably replace it next season.

DJI's stabilization is amazing. I own a drone and I've only flown it around my house(taking a little trip this weekend so I might be able to fly it more then) and its amazing how stable the footage is even when the drone is shaking.
That looks amazing! I got inspired to invest in proper video gear when I had to shoot a video for our presentation at SteemFest 4 in Bangkok. Ended up YouTubeing the shit out of every possible camera, lenses, setups, etc and threw $3,500 at it, only to never use it....
This looks a lot simpler and easier to get started with. Looking forward to the videos!

Seems nice. Enjoy it. My best one many decades ago was a Russian Smena8, when i was still doing photos and stuff. We needed to develop the film in the dark too, before making the pictures. Those were simpler times.

Dang that's actually a legit setup. Had a few people asking what they could use and carry around as many of clucky, fall apart or just have bad quality. How is the audio outside any issues with wind?
