Melt in mouth what flour cookies

Hello Foodies!

Naan Khatai is an extremely soft, a melt-in-mouth cookie made using Wheat flour, Gram flour, and Rava (Sooji). Indians here might be able to relate this to cookies available roadside, people bake them on a hot pan and serve fresh. But those aren’t as good as what you can prepare at home, for sure.

These cookies don’t need a bite, the moment you keep them inside your mouth, they melt. This is due to the high amount of Ghee required to prepare these. So these are high in calories for sure. But again, I don’t prepare them for myself. I prepare it for my baby and he loves it. I mix it in the milk and feed him and he wants more and more all the time. These are highly nutritious for these babies given they need such a high-calorie diet at this age. Rather than giving them biscuits from the market, I prefer these.

If you try this recipe, make sure you use measuring cups to take proper measurements. Each and every ingredient has to be in the right amount to get the perfect taste and texture.

Let’s see how we make it.

I also make it almost the same just by replacing ghee with vegetable oil. It's really simple and delicious.
Just correct the title "what flour" :-)
