As far as I know you can go to (i.e.) leofinance.io and connect to your HIVE account.
When you vote, you use Voting Power on the HIVE blockchain to proccess this transaction (since the token is running on the HIVE blockchain) - but it will also generate two payouts: One on the main chain (if this post is seeable on the usual frontends) and another for the token itself. The higher your stake in this token is, the higher the token payout for that post!
Please correct me if I am wrong with some things but that's how I understood and observed it so far ..
And then there are other tokens like !HBITS or !BEER which you can "mine" or tip by typing the command into the comment, like done before.
I think many things are not transparent for beginners, especially some technical things ..
You need to stake more BEER (24 staked BEER allows you to call BEER one time per day)
