As I understand it, the reason that the witnesses raised the interest on HBD to 20% was because they hare hoping that people would start using HBD for commerce if they felt comfortable with the pegging.
I believe that the best way to get people to use crypto as currency is to actually sell things with crypto.
The only thing that I have to sell is ad space. I have several million ad views a year. The ad views are 720x90 leader boards that go in the upper fold of the page. I have several hundred thousand page views that would be of interest to people on HIVE.
Essentially, these are pages that link to HIVE specfic content. They often have users from HIVE. For example the page Internet Rivers - Hive Resources lists web sites that interact with the HIVE blockchain. I often send new users to this page. I have a second page for HIVE Tribes
The site has text ads embedded in the page. This means they are unobtrusive and show up in Brave. My ad tracker does not track individual users. It simple counts page views and clicks.
The ads usually generate between 1 and 5 clicks for every hundred page views depending on the ad copy. The current ad is just an affiliate ad for Bittrex.
Since the ads are on pages that will be seen by HIVE users, it is suitable for any HIVE or HIVE Tribe page. So, if you created a link to your HIVE profile page, you would pay 10 HBD a probably bring in between 1000 and 5000 clicks into your profile which might generate 10 HBD worth of upvotes ... no guarantee on that last part. My pages are generally seen by new users who have low HIVE POWER.

$10 is basically the cost of delivering the ads. I like to sell in 100K chunks because it takes time to create the ads and upload them. I charge upfront because collection costs are higher than the cost of the ads. I will prorate the ads if you decide to cancel the order. I will probably transfer the HBD to savings; so it might take 3 days for the refund to go through.
As for the picture, I placed some text on a picture of blank sign I snapped a few years back.
Yes, I've tried selling ads on HIVE before, but have had no takers to date. I will give you a link that shows stats for the ads if I make a sale. I have to rewrite this page and I don't want to do that if I don't sell any ads.

An ad has a URL for a web page, a title and a tag line. The URL could be a profile page for a HIVE account.

Are People Even Allowed to Engage in Commerce in the Comments Section?
Hey, did you know that there is nothing instrinically or morally wrong with engaging in commerce in the comment section on HIVE?
I know, you would think that there is a moral prohibition against ordering something like an ad in the comment section of a post.
All I need to create an ad in the link to the page you want to advertise. I would then create the ad, link to a page about the ad. If you liked the ad you would pay me and the ad would go live.
I have an order page, but I have to check the stupid page; whereas, I happend to check my comments regularly.
Shouldn't You Have a Discord Server for Commerce?
Wait a second. Engaging in commerce on HIVE seems low class and crass. Isn't this the type of stuff people do on Discord Servers.
The comment section on HIVE is for high minded pursuits like pontification and bloviating. Using the comment section to communicate seems wrong.
The tradition is that if people want to develop something related to HIVE, they set up a discord server first.
