A COFFEE WITH THE FLAVOR OF MY PEOPLE (En – Es)

ENGLISH

I always say that my favorite coffee is the typical guayoyo from my town, from the land where I was born, which is a very plain and emblematic coffee because it is soft and strained in cloth. But there is nothing more satisfying, when you go out for a walk through your city, to see commercial establishments, and you take a bath in the town with its traditions, and to top it all off, they give you a simple coffee, with that characteristic smell that invades the place.

Yesterday was Black Friday and I went out to the Tigre store to do some shopping, and early on there was an impressive downpour that made the morning very cold. In the midst of that pleasant climate, several places that I visited offered me delicious coffee, very hot to withstand the cold that it was.

One of the traditions of my city is that the commercial area has sales of hot dogs and empanadas everywhere, and taking a break from my eating routine, I sat down to eat a dog on one of the streets they occupy, which is boulevard style, no vehicles pass through it.

The lady graciously served me a very mild coffee, the way I like it, low in sugar and very hot. We stayed talking for a while while we both enjoyed the coffee, and I finished my breakfast.

Then I continued seeing shops, and in a place where I went to buy an umbrella, they gave me another coffee, as tasty as the previous one, and so I tried different flavors and aromas, but the most delicious thing about my guayoyos was not only the aroma and its flavor, but the kindness of my people who know that guayoyo unites us like good llaneros, and that serving one in the morning is a gesture of friendship.

That way I continued my walk, taking with me the good taste of a coffee with a flavor of the town, beautiful people, and traditions. Thank you all for visiting my blog, it will be until a new opportunity in which I tell you another story accompanied by a coffee. Happy weekend.
