Hato Grill has become the default place for coffee until the next supermarket opens at Cumaná Mall. The small americano has a price of 0.90$. This is the same price tag as our old reliable Panetteria. The quality is not the same. They use a coffee with for more sour notes. So asking for espresso is like shooting yourself in the foot.
It is not a quiet place either. Since the local is at the food court, there is a lot of noise coming from the people at the tables and the screens on the walls. They also have their own screen playing music at the place. And they play music way too loud for it to be comfortable.
I wish there was a place to go drink coffee with nice ambiance and good comfy seats. It seems the city is lacking on that department. It is a shame that a city that is built on the ideas of literature and poetry lacks a place for minds to sit and have a talk. Perhaps one day, there will be a right place for this activities.
For the time being, we will need to do with this place and its prices.
