Greetings, caffeine-loving humans! How are you…?
About a week ago, a friend of my girlfriend came to visit us with his wife, and he brought us this artisanal coffee so to speak from a town called CARAMANTA (located in Antioquia, Colombia). The coffee is called DON JUANQUIN, and even though the packaging is very simple, don’t be fooled by its appearance.
We’ve really been enjoying grinding our own coffee. In this little space, I have everything related to this world: my French press and my mini grinder, which is a crazy little machine to prepare coffee with. I have several posts on my blog where I talk about it. I also have some coffees I’ve talked about before. It’s like my little happiness corner.
🍵THE COFFEE
I made a small cup; I didn’t grind more than 4 grams, and to my surprise, it’s an incredibly strong coffee so strong that I had to add water because it was even too intense for me, and I usually like it dark.
I feel like this isn’t a coffee for everyone, since I picked up some aromatic notes, and even though the package says “chocolate,” I didn’t really taste that haha.
The one they gave us is from this year’s harvest, and as I mentioned, it’s whole-bean coffee (I encourage you to start buying whole beans so you actually know what you’re drinking).
Remember that coffee gives you many benefits when we consume good quality products, which is why I always recommend looking for whole-bean coffee from small coffee growers. Plus, even though it’s delicious, it’s not recommended to drink more than three cups a day.

Saludos humanos amantes de la cafeína como están...
Hace ya que una semana un amigo de mi novia vino a visitarnos con su esposa y nos trajo este café artesanal por decirlo así de un Municipio llamado CARAMANTA ( queda en Antioquia Colombia ). El café se llama DON JUANQUIN y aunque tenga un empaque muy sencillo no se dejen engañar por su presentación.
Nos esta gustando mucho moler nuestro propio café, aunque en este espacio tengo todo lo relacionado con este mundo como es mi prensa francesa y mi mini moledero que es una locura para preparar. Tengo varias post en mi blog donde hablo al respecto. Tambien tengo unos cafés de los que previamente he hablado. Es como mi espacio de felicidad.
EL CAFÉ
Prepare una pequeña tasa, no moli mas de 4 gramos y para mi sorpresa es un café súper pero súper fuerte que me toco agregarle agua porque incluso estaba fuerte para mi y eso que me gusta que quede oscuro.
Siento que no es café para todo publico ya que le sentí unas notas como aromáticas y aunque en el empaque dice chocolate no lo sentí jeje.
Este que nos regalaron es cosecha de este año y como dige anteriormente esta en grano ( invito a que empiecen a consumir en grano y sepan que se están tomando ).
Recuerden que el café te aportas muchos beneficios cuando tomamos productos de buena calidad y por eso recomiendo siempre buscar en grano y de pequeños caficultores. Además aunque es delicioso no se recomienda tomar mas de 3 tazas al día. Y a ti que pareció este cafe´?
