My Unexpected Coffee Upgrade

I haven’t always been explorative with coffee. I usually made coffee in two simple ways; it was either black coffee with Nescafé classic, or regular coffee with the 3-in-1 Nescafé. Sometimes I tried whatever coffee was available, but honestly, that was the furthest I ever went.

On social media, we see all sorts of things we never imagined, and I remember coming across a video of a girl making a creamy coffee with just Nescafé classic, some milk and sugar. It looked so good that I told myself I’d try it someday… but, of course, the thought slowly faded with time.

Fast forward to recently—I wanted to make coffee when I found out I only had Nescafé classic left, and none of my regular 3 in 1. I didn’t feel like drinking plain black coffee, and it was almost as if tiktok read my mind and decided to give me a sign, because minutes after, I saw yet another video of the same creamy coffee.

So I decided to make it for breakfast.

One thing I love about this method is how manual and simple it is. Anyone can do it, and honestly, it is fun. I wasn’t skeptical, I wanted it to be good but I wasn’t having any high expectations. I just wanted it to taste like coffee, haha. But it was so good.

What I used:

• A plastic bottle
• Nescafé classic
• Sugar
• Evaporated milk
• Ice

STEPS

  1. Pour your Nescafé classic into the plastic bottle ( I used the tiny 1.5g sachet).

2.Add sugar according to taste ( I can ’t remember the exact amount, but I think I used 2 spoons)

3.Add a little water ( about 3 tablespoons)

4.Close the lid of the bottle tightly and shake vigorously for 3-5 minutes until it becomes creamy and thick

5.Pour and Sneeze out this form into a cup.

6.Add ice, your milk( I used evaporated milk), and anything else you prefer.

7.Mix and enjoy.

I enjoyed mine with some pancakes and bananas, and it was so delicious. So simple and nice.

Is there any other easy way you make your coffee? Let me know in the comment..

This is a first for me. I'm not a fan of black coffee, I always go for the 3in1 but would give this a shot as it looks good and creamy 😋

I've never made coffee any other way, and like you, social media keeps sending me signals. One of these days I'll dare to try it, haha. Cheers.

Still better than the original one, though :) Not a huge fan of real coffee, I guess? ;)
