Between joy and nostalgia
3 months ago I shared with you a family outing that happened years ago in the salt cathedral in Zipaquira Colombia and I told you that I would return to tell the experience of drinking coffee 180 meters below the ground, but time passes quickly and it was today when I remember this commitment for the nostalgia of these memories.
That day I went to know this wonder of nature and man, accompanied by my close family, my parents and siblings and also the family of one of my uncles, his wife and children, we were two happy families and we went for the first time to this place.
One of the most enjoyable moments was when we decided to share a delicious coffee in these conditions, this was not just any coffee, because Colombian coffee is classified as one of the best in the world and drinking it while we were freezing at 180 meters below the ground, was something to appreciate and fix in our memories.
We were happy, we joked about how happy and blessed we were to have the privilege of being surrounded by these natural elements and drinking coffee. I was very happy and of course we took a lot of pictures, which was complicated, since it was very dark and because of the humidity and saltpeter the cell phones did not want to work.
Today I look at these photographs and I feel like crying, because my uncle is missing of his own free will, their marriage disintegrated and he decided to leave without a trace and my dad who is his brother and the rest of the family is worried, that is why this memory together with the coffee takes on a special meaning in my life.
I only pray to God that she finds herself well and heals all the pain she carries inside. 😌

Entre la alegría y la nostalgia
Hace 3 meses les compartí un paseo familiar que ocurrió hace años en la catedral de sal en Zipaquira Colombia y les dije que volvería para contar la experiencia de tomar café a 180 metros debajo de la tierra, pero el tiempo pasa rápido y fue hoy cuando recuerde este compromiso por la nostalgia de estos recuerdos.
Ese día fui a conocer esta maravilla de la naturaleza y el hombre, acompañada de mi familia cercana, mis padres y hermanos y también la familia de uno de mis tíos, su esposa e hijos, éramos dos familias felices y que fuimos por primera vez a este lugar.
Uno de los momentos más amenos fue cuando decidimos compartir un rico café en estas condiciones, este no era cualquier café, pues el café de Colombia está catalogado como uno de los mejores del mundo y beberlo mientras nos estábamos congelando a 180 metros debajo de la tierra, era algo para apreciar y fijar en nuestras memorias.
Estábamos felices, bromeábamos sobre los dichosos y bendecidos que éramos de tener el privilegio de estar rodeados de estos elementos naturales y de tomar café. Yo me sentía muy feliz y por supuesto nos tomamos muchas fotos, cosa que era complicado, ya que había mucha oscuridad y por la humedad y el salitre los celulares no querían funcionar.
Hoy observo estas fotografías y me dan ganas de llorar, porque mi tío se encuentra desaparecido por voluntad propia, su hogar se desintegró y decidió irse sin dejar rastro y mi papá que es su hermano y el resto de la familia está preocupada, por eso este recuerdo unido al café cobra un significado especial en mi vida.
Solo le pido a Dios que se encuentre bien y sane todo el dolor que lleva por dentro. 😌
