The creaking of the old wooden door as it closes, interrupts the silence of the evening, leaving in the darkness of the barn a mountain of sacks of coffee beans that could not be sold, as a consequence of the crisis that arose in the world economy as a result of the pandemic. This exclusive coffee with its denomination of origin coming from the mountains of Venezuela was undoubtedly as valuable as gold for the most refined vineyards of Europe, where it was treasured for its aromatic characteristics that contributed an unknown touch to a certain wine from the French countryside.
However, now the landowner of this ruined plantation can see in his mind as he walks through the cracked fields full of withered plants, how years of developing the perfect blend of coffee beans have been abandoned as the estimated time and humidity proportions required to bind with the red wine have expired, This has literally driven him to the brink of madness in the solitude of the gigantic colonial-era house that belonged to one of the heroes of independence and that stands almost like a vacant palace on the highest hill of the Trujillo State mountain range.
The sun illuminates his gaze while in the background he sees, approaching along the dusty road, a pickup truck that brings an entirely unexpected visitor. On board, the rustic vehicle travels with his daughter Teresa. This middle-aged woman made her life independently in the big city, having the opportunity to study at the best universities and rub shoulders with wealthy businessmen in the world of gastronomy, where she has a special recognition for being a prodigious model and also one of the most quoted influencers in social networks, where she gained special relevance for her blog with reviews of all kinds of places she makes on the web 3.0.
Teresa had many years without visiting the family home, but because of health conditions that paralyzed the world decided to reunite with his father, completely ignoring the terrible economic problem he faces.
The smile fades from her face as she approaches the mansion, seeing how the panorama has completely changed from what she remembered, leaving only ruins. That night after dinner with his father, Teresa spends the night awake putting all his intellect to work, trying to find a way to market all that coffee that is abandoned in the cellar, so without thinking more, he decides to turn on his camera and begin to convene a live broadcast with his followers on social networks adding in a few minutes a large audience, before the announcement that would make a rural expedition for unknown lands overnight.
Her adventure begins by recounting her childhood, in the lands where once one of the best coffees in the world was grown, then opens the mysterious doors of the barn showing only darkness, from where a stage previously prepared by her, begins to slowly light up showing a wood fire boiling water to brew the coffee, which is extracted directly from one of the bags despite being completely moldy, in a desperate attempt to make free advertising, which calls the public to want to try this strange coffee bean that the famous internet influencer was telling them about.
However, the daring girl did not count on the fact that the degree of humidity of the bean had risen to such a high level, that it was filled with a strange fungus and simply became intolerable to human taste directly when brewed, so her advertising campaign ended in a complete disaster, when she vomited in front of the cameras, saying: This is too bitter, and could not stand the taste of this drink inside her mouth for more than a few seconds.
Emotionally destroyed, she abruptly cut off the transmission and went crying to her room, understanding that her high-stakes bet could not save her father from ruin and that she would surely be the object of ridicule of the entire internet for quite a while. However, as a wise woman once said, "there is no such thing as bad publicity".
So the unfortunate event went so viral on social networks for days, reaching the ears of a millionaire man who owns a German brewing emporium, that he quickly identified the fungus growing on the coffee as an exotic variety that brings bitterness to the beer mix to replace hops, something that he searched for a long time to give the final touch to a black beer that was being developed, and the idea of creating a beverage of this type based on coffee was born, giving it a fortuitous and unexpected success and turning the failure into an advertising event that attracted millions of consumers to the product.

Good story, that girl suffered drinking the coffee that tasted horrible, but still managed to get someone interested and buy it, in the end everyone won with a publicity that at first was a disaster XD
