I found this contest #STB Creative Writing #16 that brings us the @cinnccf team and I was interested in participating, because I am one of the people who love coffee and I also like to write stories related to it, this time I'm going to the best halloween party in a coffee shop in my city. I hope you enjoy my story.
The best party of holloween in a coffee shop
Many of us have favorite celebrations, be it for everything that is involved in it, be it food, music, themed decorations or others. My friend Julia loves Halloween parties, she is a young student, an only child who was always ready to scare her friends with her practical jokes, besides she is addicted to candy, at school she always drew skulls on the blackboards or notebooks with strange names, in short everything related to this celebration has its purpose that motivates Julia.
Her friend Diana, invites her to a costume party, which will be held in a very well known cafeteria in the city that is characterized by having the best coffee, very tasty sweets and excellent decoration, of course Julia did not hesitate to accept, so she prepared for that special night, also, told her that they would have a great time and give many prizes for the best costume, also they would taste the desserts that they prepare there.
When she arrived at the cafeteria, she was enchanted with its decoration, there were many pumpkins, balloons, skeletons, witches, ghosts and a very scary music, but the most attractive thing was the rich aroma of coffee that was impregnated in the atmosphere, like an aroma that ignoticizes people, Julia felt immediately connected and excited.
She sat at the best table, since she arrived very early to the party, there was only her friend Diana accompanied by Pedro, a friend in common and that she always made jokes at school for being a student applied, quiet and the smallest of his class, he was very resolute with her, because he made her cry with his bad jokes, but enough time has passed, that is why they greet each other very kindly and began to enjoy the Halloween party.
The party was very colorful, without a doubt there were lots of candies and sweets decorated with pumpkins, ghosts, bats, but Julia was attracted to the coffee cake, which was her favorite, decorated with phantoms and vermin, so she served herself a piece, and another and another until the point of eating it all, meanwhile her friends thought it would be a good idea to play a joke on Julia, as she used to do to them some time ago.
Julia went to the bathroom, because she felt weird for eating too much candy, and when she opened the faucet to wash her face and saw herself in the mirror she saw behind her an image of a woman dressed as a witch telling her with a scary voice The candy was very tasty, you ate it all, but here you have more, suddenly Julia looked at the floor and there were many coffee candies on the floor, and when she looked to answer the witch, she was gone, she had disappeared into nothingness. She was petrified before such an impetuous vision, she left the bathroom very scared, thinking if it was a person disguised as a witch who was at such a party or it was a figment of her imagination.
Her friend Diana looked at her and told her that this party was a lot of fun, the candy was delicious and the costumes were scary, but I don't see your enthusiasm, she noticed that something was going on, she told her what happened and they both went to the bathroom to check and there was nothing except a note on the mirror that said See you later Julia, kind regards the coffee witch.
Maybe it was a joke of revenge for Julia by her friends, or it was really a product of her imagination for eating so many sweets that were at such a party that she began to delirious, What do you think ...
I really liked to do this kind of contest and especially to talk about coffee which is one of the things I enjoy the most in my life, because I like its sweet taste and bitter smell that also I do not miss in my mornings to face my day to day with a lot of energy.
