Sublime Sunday - Exterminate!!

in SublimeSunday2 years ago (edited)

We visited the Cromford Millennium Sci Fi Event which was described on their website as "an intergalactic display of models, props, puppets and costumes from classic Sci-Fi productions of Gerry Anderson, Doctor Who, Blake’s 7, Star Trek …and beyond!"

Dr Who's old enemy the daleks have always been a favourite of mine. They still scare me! Dr Who started in the 1960s and is still going strong today.

K9 appeared in Dr Who. It was a mobile computer with built in weapons.

A few more enemies of Dr Who.

Fireball XL5 and Stingray were sci fi television programmes from the 1960s by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson.

A lego version of Yoda from Star Wars.

Brains from Thunderbirds, also by Gerry Anderson from the 1960s and has since been resurrected as an animation.

A good event for the sci fi lover and totally free!
