Today started off with a beautiful colorful sunrise! This photo was taken from the road at the top of my hill. The trees get in the way of seeing the sunrise here at my house, but the top from the hill provides a spectacular view.
The maple leaves on the tree outside my window were also looking colorful in the morning sunlight. They are already falling and won't be there to enjoy much longer.
The oak leaves have begun changing and will soon become a rustly brown color. Some will fall to the ground, but the oaks can hang on to their leaves for much of the winter. When the wind blows particularly hard, during an early winter there are times when the surface of the snow is covered with oak leaves. But right now they are still looking quite lovely.

It seems to happen here in the spring and autumn when the weather is most unstable. This one was pretty spectacular!
It looked as though you had taken the shot from elevation and you a very crisp image.
I enjoyed your photos of the sunrise and all the pretty leaves.
It does seem like that colorful fall window doesn't last nearly long enough. It is beautiful here and I believe we are at the peak of color, but I know the first rain that comes along, which may be today, will dash most of them to the ground.
