Since the past few days, it has been very cloudy and it would look like it's going to rain heavily but there has been no rains except for a little drizzle which can barely be felt. Due to this weather, it is becoming uncertain if to venture out or not. The one problem we face here is even if there is a little rain the city gets flooded. The city does not have enough infrastructure to support heavy rainfall. It has been a little better though in the last 4 to 5 years, where the municipality has worked up on drainage systems in some very low line parts of the city. But still, we do face challenges in narrow lines, where water gets accumulated. Specially near my building entry we have a narrow lane and this gets flooded instantly even with a half an hour rainfall.
Yesterday, through out the day it has been gloomy. I had some friends come over on Friday night and we had a gathering, I was feeling tired from that as well. Through out the day I was lazing around not doing anything much. Also, in anticipation that it will rain, but it did not. In some parts of the Country, it has been raining heavily so it's just the effect of that which is showing up in the city.

My friend sends me this picture, with the view of the Sea from her balcony. The sea was rough and that part was very windy.
With not much in a mood to do anything, I started reading this book which I have bought since quite some time but not able to read. Ancient Aliens and JFK. It's an interesting read about Kennedy's assassination and the relationship between the grand Nasa plan and the parallel secret space program. It dwells into Kennedy's silent war with the deep state and the threat they faced from him on his attention to bring out many secrets open into the common public. There were many reasons why the top figures wanted him dead. It also gives some clues about the fake moon landings. A good intense read it is, very difficult for the general public to comprehend on these agendas, but the fact is that the Deep State does exist. I am half way through the book, it's going fast, probably in a day or 2 should be able to finish it.
Later in the evening I wanted to step out as it was still dry and I was wanting some fresh air. We went for a drive and then went to see the new Bollywood sensational movie Pathan of the famous actor Shahrukh Khan. The movie has been a craze all over in India and Middle East as well, since Shahrukh Khan is very famous and has a huge fan following, especially in Dubai. It was a good entertainment. After a very long time I saw the Theatre was full. Else since a long time I would see that the theatres were running barely at 25% to 30% capacity. Guess the Cinema guys could do a good business out of this movie. The movie is revolving around a bad guy who wants to spread a virus in the capital city of India and take a personal revenge on an unjust behavior from the Government on him. And then there are the good guys who go all out to save the city from the situation. The cast of the movie is the topline one. The movie has been received very well in the audience.
Shahrukh Khan is now 58 years old and he still manages to pull the crowd, which is quite spectacular on his part.
That's how the week ended and today back to work.
