I hope your Sunday was an enjoyable one! Mine was pretty good all around. Come and relive it with me, wont you?
The good news this week is we are starting to see a few blooms. The bad news is many of these blooms are going to get a shock because we are going down into the 20's several days this week!
Let's not worry about the blooms until later. First let's talk about food! I made burgers but not on the grill. I really had good intentions, but the day got away from me! So I heated up some mushrooms and fried up 3 thinly sliced onions. Gotta love some caramelized onions! But what I want to show is one of my fave desserts which takes less than five minutes and is so yummy.
Start with some cream cheese. Microwave it for 45 seconds till it gets softened....
Next peel and slice up a nice apple like a Honey Crisp...
Cut into strips.
Now add 2 table spoons of sweetener to the cream cheese. Combine with a good amount of grapes off the vine...
Garnish with the apples. There you have a yummy dessert.

I love burger to bite on them and thats a yummy desert you have made. Flowers are on time to bloom, baby flowers also are afterward for blooming, still pretty more place are in lockdown for covid-19 situation.

It is nice when things start to bloom! Spring is definitely here (seems like a blast of summer where I am at) and it's great when things start growing. Dessert looks lovely. Have a good week!
Well, just enjoy the bloom while they're there. Or go back indoor to make more desserts.
It was a pretty nice day, wasn't it? I would say that you can never go wrong with a good burger, especially with a little thinly sliced onion and mushrooms to accessorize it. The dessert looks great, but, it is rare for me to indulge. I have other things I waste my calories on. :)
There is no replacement for a great burger.
The flowers have taken a jump start and I hope the cold doesn't damage them. The cold did us damage early on. Spring came too early and the cherry blossoms took the hit. You are much hardier up there, so they probably will be okay.
I love the little bleeding hearts! Mine are just blooming now!
