For Ben and I there is no better way to spend a Sunday than walking around and shooting scenes with out camera gear. Talk about beautiful and talk about sublime!

Ben and I got new phones. We ordered them on Black Friday from Verizon. Ben ordered the iPhone 13 and I opted to stay with Android and took a S20. Both were meant to be free but Verizon muffed up the order and now we are stuck with Ben getting an iPhone 11 for free and I stayed with the Samsung S20.
This is the iPhone. Nice colors. I like some saturation. The selfie camera is way better...
Plus it can even blur the background instantly! Sweet! The back camera certainly goes to the iPhone!

Seems like things are more even on the forward camera... However the s20 is a slightly newer phone, and the iPhone is as good!

Straight out of the camera, I would say the iPhone, but, it depends on what it is mainly for. The iPhone has had a better camera for a while, but, this one rivals my camera.
Is it going to be your main camera? Which is easier for you to use? That is what is important to me.
No wont be my "main" camera but often it is my "only" camera as I am out and about with no other camera!
I keep going back to that saying that goes the best camera for the job is the one you have with you!
The S20 was already better than the S10 but I also think the selfie camera still not as good but I'm happy with my S21 and not complaining about the selfie camera since I shoot with that a lot lesser.
I have always been an Android guy, but I might be temped to look at Apple if the price is about the same.
Yes, if the price is the same, I'll consider exploring but the way iPhone has it, it wasn't as simple as plugging in a cable and copying things in and out before which I don't like.
Once in a while I snap before my phone camera is at it's best focus and a photo is not as sharp, even though it is not at all blurry. If I take them at the right distance and make sure the camera is totally finished focusing, I get some photos that are perfect. Mine is an LG and by now, I'm sure not the most current one.
With the examples that you have here and if neither of them have touch up of any kind, the iphone seems to be the winner to me.
No touch up at all. Straight out of the cameras. The selfie cam is way better on the iPhone. Be interesting to compare the video from each. Thanks for the input.
That was a little tricky actually! I have a Note 8 right now that I probably should upgrade at some point since I take so many pictures and it is for my business. I take up close shots of women's faces, since I do cosmetic tattooing.
It kind of looks like the S20 didn't capture as much detail in the farther away images looking at the sun and tree in the ice picture. The others look kind of similar though. I like android, so will probably stick with it. Isn't it crazy how a new model comes out EVERY SINGLE YEAR though!!!!
I have thought about getting the new flip phone with the screen that is supposed to bend....
It is amazing how they can always make improvements year over year. We only upgraded because our carrier, Cricket, upgraded their network and made our Samsung S8 unusable. I like Android too but may have to check out an Apple next time.

Great photography boss and you know I love it when the camera is sharp and the photos look lie a studio picture but no one knows it was from your own personal phone camera. Nicely done boss

I would say iPhone 11 did a great job but both phones have different characters I have noticed. My sister uses iPhone 12 and it does a nice job, but for android users, Samsung S20 / S21 is good though...
