Hail to the Hive on this Sublime Sunday.
Today we've been heading further out of Leicester along the Gran Union Canal. It's bight, it's beautiful and it feels good to be on the move once more.
We are headed back along the canal the way we came in but it's surprising how it all looks completely different going in the opposite direction. I se a lock coming up so pulling in to the side to prepare the gates.
Splendid Sunday views of the english countryside that we can truly enjoy seeing as we are crawling along at 3mph.
@millycf1976 looks happy in the bow of the boat next to badger.
Now we have seen family and friends we are not cruising as long each day as it can all happen as and when it happens. s long as we are topped up with water, diesel, food & beer then all is fine. I think we will pull in here for the night. Looks like a nice spot for a good sunset.
We've moored just past a little place called 'Kilby' where we topped up the water tank with water and emptied the unmentionables. It's got to be done.
It's not too shabby really.
