A Country Lane

Okay not really a country lane per se', this is from the Stormy lake Picnic area. It was one of our stops on that day when we were on a cruise north for taking picture.

It was a pretty nice day for a drive and lots of stops. While not a true country lane, we do have many roads like this in Alaska. Narrow almost driveway width only. Granted most of them are plenty wide enough for two cars to pass, some just barely so, but doable.

This little picnic area is a one-way road only and thus is why it is more narrow than most. A lot of the parks and recreation areas only have one-way travel.

I like the view of how this really feels like a country lane. No rush no hurry to travel it, just a nice slow cruise enjoying the sights and sounds.

We have had our Persied rains and over cast skies, the winds have started to blow in the next season, and Summer has all but passed far to quickly. Fall is on the way, and it is always nice to get and find those fall shots, like all seasonal shots.
