After a long time of anticipation two friends and I visited České Budějovice again for some holiday. It was a pretty hot weekend but we had a lot of fun in exploring the city and we ate a lot of good food and enjoyed the beer and other drinks there in several bars. From Linz it takes about one and a half hours to two hours to get to České Budějovice via Bus connection which is probably the best way to travel there since if you plan to drink some beer and other alcohol is it the safest way for sure.
It is a City with a lot of nice restaurants, bars and beautiful monuments. But next time we will probably don't go there during the summer since we where on our feet nearly the whole day and because of the heat it is a bit exhausting and my body also got a bit sweaty. České Budějovice is a Twin City with Linz.

Since the prices in České Budějovice are still a little lower than in Linz it is easier to afford some really nice food in restaurants. But prices got higher and higher from year to year and are nearly on the same level now. But still you can save a little and this makes a journey to this place more enjoyable.

Wow, great photos and views. However, it is strange that at this time the streets are not very crowded.
I also advise you to visit the city of Olomouc, I was born there. It has ancient architecture and is very beautiful. My parents also told me about old castles, but I don’t remember that anymore.
