Ground Squirrels in Spring

in PhotoFeed2 years ago (edited)

I was just looking through some older pictures of mine and found these cute ground sqirrel pictures I did back in spring 2017. It was in May and the grass was still very green on the meadow where the ground squirrels live. This year I have to admit that I haven't visited them till now since I would need to drive to a place near Vienna and this year I was almost every time at the Inn River to the German Border since there are so many nice birds up there. And I have to admit that birdphotography is probably my favorite type of animalphotography and the second reason is that I drive more than 2 hours to Vienna and only 1 hour to the Inn River and with the prices of gasoline we have at the moment in the last time I have to say that I pefer not to drive too far.

But maybe when I meet my friend in Vienna I might take a short detour this year. We will see, they are not on my priority List anymore since I already have some really nice pictures of them and my plan is to get some more pictures of different species of animals, birds.........
