Spiders and Flowers - Some recent Macro Shots I did

in PhotoFeed2 years ago

Recently I found this spider sitting on its net and I took several pictures of it with my Macro lens. I was lucky that I took my macro lens with me because this was on a hiking trip and there I always try to pack light so I don't have to carry unnecessary weight. But this time I was expecting to do some Macro shots along with some wide angle shots so I decided to take the Macro lens with me. But beside some flowers and plants this spider was the only animal that I could take some pictures of. It was rather cold up there on the mountain so not a lot of insects could be found.

I am not afraid of spiders or insect but if I find one in my room I would remove it since I don't like the thought of insects crawling around when I am sleeping in the same room. But on the outside I respect them and don't kill them. Beside the spider there where also a lot of plants up there and the violet ones catched my attention to take some pictures of them. There where still some dewdrops on the flowers and this made the pictures a little more interesting. I played a round a little bit with different exposure times. And because it was still a bit misty up there it was really easy to isolate the flowers from the background and get this nice grey color there.

I have a spider on my windowsill. At first I wanted to throw it out of the window, but I was too lazy, and now there are a lot of cobwebs. And in this web there are a large number of harmful vile midges and mosquitoes. Now I don’t have to turn on the fumigator at night to poison mosquitoes. The spider does everything himself 😄
