Photography is capricious, today I only have one photo to share.

in PhotoFeedlast year

Just as you read in the title, today I only have one picture but I hope you like it as much as I like it, the truth is that I was there for a long time and I won't lie telling you how long because I didn't check the time, what I can tell you is that it was one of the most wonderful afternoons I have had in a long time.

The wind was blowing and by the time I arrived at the place the light was still intense, a very nice golden sunset light that inspired calm and relaxation, and as I was in a natural park where animals are free, I had to wait until I had the picture I was looking for, I only took one picture and you probably think why? The truth is that the ducks didn't feel like moving, and I couldn't take the picture from the front because as you can see there is a pond, so I had no choice but to wait.

During the whole time the ducks had their backs to me and this was the only moment when two of them turned to look in my direction, so it was the right moment to take the picture, as you can see I did some editing work especially correcting the white balance since I had it on automatic and I wanted you to feel the sunset light I'm talking about.

I think it's a simple photograph and I also think that's in its favor, I hope that including the two trees created a natural frame that directs the eye, the truth is that I had no choice since at that moment I only had the 50mm lens with me and if I got any closer the ducks would leave the place, so it was the best I could do at the time.

By the way, I leave you the original photograph without any editing work so you can see the changes made, I hope you liked it and with this I say goodbye, see you soon.

Sometimes the wait is absolutely rewarded by the result! Good job especially for the patience, I think I would have gone crazy in waiting for so long. Also I like the way you edited it, it definitely provides the idea of a sunset-light, warm and calm. Thank you for sharing!

Thanks to you for your feedback, the truth is that photography is something I like, it's my therapy against stress, that's why I can spend hours waiting.
