Winner of Round 3 - North America

The winner of Round 3 - North America is @greedyforce with an impressive "from above" shot out of an airplane around South Carolina. I really like the different shaped river flows on this image. Thanks for the submission!

Is there anything more "North American" than Grand Prismatic Spring in Yellowstone?

This image was taken right as the park was opening after COVID lockdowns so the crowds were low. I only had to Photoshop out maybe a dozen people. Not bad considering roughly 4 million people visit Yellowstone every year.

Visit this post for the story.

A personal favorite, taken deep in the Canadian Rockies. I called this image "Nasswald through the Fields" after the towering mountain across this mountain meadow.

If you ever travel to California, I encourage you to visit Yosemite National Park. While there, be sure to check out The California Tunnel tree, a giant sequoia located in The Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias.

Despite being cut in 1895 to allow horsedrawn carriages to pass through it, the giant sequoia survived as you can see in my photo, taken in March 2015 featuring my daughter.

Congratulations to the winner, it's really nice 👍
