Introduction

Approaching this mythical October festivity from the club we want to hold a contest to celebrate it in our own way, distributing a total of 150 HIVE.

We know that in most countries, due to COVID-19, for that date there may not be any holiday that can be celebrated so the contest will revolve around past festivities.

From The Talent Club we take this opportunity to send you a lot of strength and encouragement in these difficult times of global crisis.

Content

We want you to tell us about your experiences in some other past Halloween holiday in which you have outstanding things to tell.

Thematic

Halloween stories highlighting your funniest moments or, on the contrary, most terrifying. Any information that you tell us relevant to the experience of that holiday will be taken into account to score: costumes, food, gifts, etc..

Format

The format will be free but, by default and preferably, we are looking for a narrative article in which you mix text with photography and/or video:

Narrative.
Photography.
Video.
Music.
Drawing.

Even so, we are willing to give you the freedom to surprise us by combining or using only one of these formats.

There is no maximum or minimum limit of extension.

Prizes

There will be 2 main prizes and a draw:

1st place - 70 HIVE
2nd place - 50 HIVE
Draw - 30 HIVE

The first and second place will be determined by merit but the third place will be determined by draw among all the participants of the contest.

Assessment

The jury will give preference to the following aspects:

Originality of the story told, highly valuing its verisimilitude.
Means used to tell us your story as well as the clarity and depth of the story.

The first two main prizes can be declared void if none of the submitted works meets minimum quality standards; in this case, the amount of these two prizes will be divided and drawn among all participants.

Rules

The works must be published within the community of The Talent Club.
The works must contain the #talentclub and #halloweencontest tags.
The works must be titled as Halloween Contest - The Talent Club.
The works must be presented in any of these two languages: English or Spanish.
The works must have been created exclusively for the contest.
Only one work will be accepted per user.
Papers submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.

Deadlines

From 10/25/2020, 12:00 UTC to 10/31/2020, 12:00 UTC.

All articles published for the contest will receive a vote from the club.
