We wanted to share with all of you the excitement we have for the next events that are coming up on the Hive Blockchain and that is one of the reasons why we have done this Power Up these days ago.
It is mainly about the article that @theycallmedan wrote about the news that The Speak Network is going to bring in 2021 by the hand of the @threespeak guys and that you can fully read here.
The issue is complex and there will be a lot of work behind it, but we can basically summarize what you as users of the platform will interest you the most and that is why we have done Power Up: the claim drop of the LARYNX miner token in a 1:1 ratio.
That is that you will be able to freely claim, monthly, an amount of LARYNX tokens that at the end of the year (if you claimed every month), you will have an amount of tokens equal to 100% of your Hive Power.
You will be able to use those LARYNX tokens to mine SPEAK token but, if you're not interested on mining, you can easily sell the tokens to people interested on mining and you would get a full hand of HIVE. It's a win/win for everyone.
We didn't find on their roadmap the exact date when the snapshot of the Hive Power from our accounts will be taken but, as you can see, we're already getting ready for it and powering up.
On the other hand we want to thank @blocktrades for the excellent service he provides to the platform, allowing you to swap instantly a lot of currencies to Hive and sending it to your account (without you having to do anything).
It's really fast and simple and it's also the cheapest we've found. We used to use Bittrex exchange previous to that but we'll certainly continue to use BlockTrades from now on.
We also wanted to mention in this article to @penguinpablo, who daily publishes Hive Stats Reports (among other things), in which you can find that we made the podium (among the first three), two consecutive days, as one of the largest Power Up'ers of the entire platform.
