There was a time when it was said that you should donate in such a way that the other hand doesn't know about it. This clearly meant that your donation should be confidential and there should be no ostentation. Nowadays, I see that people donate but they make such a show of it that the donation loses its value. When the coronavirus was raging, many people were donating, and some of them were also seen sharing their donations everywhere. Donating is a good thing, but this kind of show-off is not befitting a charitable person. The question also arises whether the money or any item we donate reaches the right hands, because nowadays people accept donations, but the person in whose name they are accepting the donations doesn't receive it. Many times, we encounter people who come to us seeking donations in the name of orphanages or old-age homes. Often, we don't even know if the person coming to collect donations is actually doing so for the right purpose or for their own personal use. There are many ways to verify whether the donations we make are reaching the right destination. But before we get into all this, I'd like to say that if you want to make a donation, you should personally go to the organization where you wish to donate and perform this auspicious task with your own hands. If you donate through someone, it's possible that the person may not deliver the money to the organization. It's also possible that the person is committing fraud, as many people do these days.

The first step is to verify that you have donated your body to an organization. You can check this on the organization's website, as almost every organization has launched its own website to help spread the word and provide online support. The organization displays the names of all those who have donated to the organization on its website, which is a positive step because it maintains transparency and ensures that the money has reached the right destination. Often, such organizations publish their audit reports or financial statements online, allowing you to view your donations through those. Another option is that if you don't have time to visit the organization, you can make an online payment in the organization's name, which will directly transfer the money to the organization's official account. If you give cash, there's no guarantee of how much money the organization will actually receive. Sometimes, fake books are even printed, providing false information. Nowadays, you can directly transfer it online to the institute's account through online website or through UPI.
Now, as far as donations are concerned, I always try to donate as much as I can, and if I find someone in need, I try to donate as much as I can, according to my means. Sometimes, when an unknown person comes to ask for donations, I first gather complete information about them before making a donation. Sometimes, when I hear about fraudulent paddy transactions, I lose trust in strangers. In such cases, I find it best to transfer money online, or I can go to the institution in person to donate. If someone comes to you to ask for donations, first gather their full credentials to determine whether the person coming to ask for donations is a genuine person. Then whatever payment you are making, either do it online or take a receipt from the person so that you can be confident. Although donations should always be confidential, but seeing the kind of things and frauds happening in the society these days, we should also get information about our donations because no matter how much money you are donating, that money is the result of your hard work and you have full right to know everything about it.

People nowadays whenever they donate they will want people to know their good deed so that people will be like wow this person is a good person and God didn't love this kind of thing. He prefer you donate anonymously without people knowing such donations God is always happy and because of that He will continue blessing that person. Yes, it's true that before giving anyone donations that come to meet us physical we must firstly run background check-up on that person because people now are lying just to receive donations.
