Maturity, age, and success

in Hive Learnerslast year (edited)

Good night world, it's night here in Nigeria a country in west Africa with diverse values and cultures. It's been a while since I wrote here on the hive, I had to learn more about how things work around here and I can say it has been helpful, my sincere appreciation to all my teachers.
During my learning, some questions kept on coming to my mind and I will love to share them with you all. My quest for knowledge hasn't ended therefore your comments on this post will enlighten me more.
What is maturity?
Maturity is the state of having reached a stage of full or advanced development. Maturity is synonymous with adulthood but do you know it's not all adults that are mature?
What is age?
Age is the increase in numbers as we grow yearly.
What is success?
Success is the accomplishment of an aim or purpose.
These are the questions popping up in my mind and these are the answers I was able to come up with.
Maturity is a stage in human life where you will be left to take decisions on your own but does age has a relationship with maturity? To my knowledge I can say age has to do with maturity because a child will always be a child, he or she can not think the way an adult will think although some children think like an adult sometimes it surely won't be the same way an adult will. Age is a great factor in determining maturity because going on a successful journey requires great maturity not just in age but physical, emotional, and mental to achieve and sustain success. In the world today we see teenagers that make it to their successful destination in the early years of their lives and they misuse the opportunities later ruining their great achievements. The relationship between maturity, age, and success is a strong one, these three work hand in hand and that is when a human can say he or she has achieved great things. As a young lady or man that reached the peak of his or her career at an early age needs guidance and total maturity to keep going forward in life because a wrong step can ruin years of tolerance, patience, and hard work to reach the top. Maturity is just like a sprouting plant that grows every day.
