El creador de cada comunidad tiene la opción de crear y ponerle nombre al token de su comunidad. Sirve para mostrar cuán devoto o dedicado es cada miembro hacia la comunidad. Por otro lado, reduce la necesidad de usar tokens de Hive.
Al igual que al acumular tokens de Hive obtenemos más poder en Hive y nuestros votos y recompensas son más valiosos, lo mismo sucede dentro de cada comunidad con un token de comunidad o tribal. Es como el dinero fiduciario que otorga más poder e interés a quienes acumulan más dinero.
He estado pensando en crear una comunidad. Si creo una, un token comunitario podría ser una buena motivación para participar. Le da a cada usuario que los acumula un sentido de pertenencia. Los tokens comunitarios se pueden convertir fácilmente en tokens de Hive, en la sección "Hive Engine" de la billetera.

Why do communities create tokens on Hive?
The creator of each community has the option to create and name its own community token. It serves to show how devoted or dedicated each member is towards the community. On the other hand, it reduces the need to use Hive tokens.
Just like staking [saving] Hive tokens we get more Hive Power (HP) and our votes and rewards are more valuable, the same thing happens within each community with a tribe or community token. In the same way, fiat money gives more power and interest to those who save more.
I've been thinking about creating a community. If I create one, a community token could be a good motivation to participate. It gives each user who accumulates them a sense of belonging. Community tokens can be easily converted to Hive tokens in the Hive Engine section of the wallet.
The only issue I see so far is how easy it is to convert Hive tokens to fiat money and how hard it is to buy them with fiat money, at least in the US. Where can I buy Hive tokens in the US? I'd like to receive that information in a comment.

While watching a comedy with my mom, someone would say 'hashtag' something several times. My mom had to ask me what that was. So I told her that the hashtag is a number symbol (#) before a word that we add to a post so that other people can find it quickly. In Hive, tags serve the same purpose.
For some communities, tags are so important that they appear as "Preferred Topics" on their main header, as in the graphic below. For example, check them out in the communities: Catarsis, Develop Spanish, Emotions & Feelings, EspaVlog, Hive Learners, Silver Bloggers, The Minimalist, Vida Verde, etc.
When curators use those tags to search for posts, it's annoying to see a publication that has no relation with the tag. That's an abuse of the tag and can lead to the unrelated post being muted or downvoted.

Tribe or Community Tokens can be earned by posting to a tokenized community or using a tag related to a tokenized community. Other than that, maybe upvoting or commenting on a post in a tokenized community? Please let me know in a comment if this is correct or not.
From what I can understand, tribaldex.com allows us to convert community tokens to Hive and vice versa. By the way, it seems that anyone on Hive can create a token, unless the required URL must correspond to a community. Too much information for me. That may be the reason why I wasn't interested in this task until I read @jessicaossom's and @shopnilhasan's posts.
