So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun that we did not want it to end. We are currently on the first topic for this week, which is “PRICE RANGE”.

But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last topic, which was “THE WORLD OF SPORTS”.

This topic was geared toward each member of the community telling us about their thoughts on the world of international sports and how much money was spent whenever such events took place. From countries hosting it, to transporting the players to the event. We looked at the upside and downside of this.

We got to see that indeed a lot of money goes into these sports, money that could be put into infrastructure that would benefit the people. However, sports has always been a uniting factor between countries and it also creates jobs. Not just for the players, but for everyone else in that game. And thus, it will always remain an important part of our world. It was an enlightening topic, indeed.

For this topic, we went through every entry post, and that is every post with the #hl-exclusive & #hl-w187e3; tag. And with the number of wonderful posts out there, it was quite difficult to make a selection. But eventually, we did just that. While a lot does go into preparations for such things, they also do a lot when it comes to keeping many youths away from crime and drugs.

For this author, she told us that international games are not only necessary, they’re also relevant in the world of today. There will always be enough, after all, there are other things also taking up resources that are non-beneficial to the people. They are important and should be continued so that everyone will one day have a chance to partake in it.

SPORTS AND MAJOR EVENTS ARE A POWERFUL SOCIAL TOOL by @shiftrox

For this author, he told us that every sporting event can be held for it’s own benefit, whether international or local. Such events also go a long way in creating jobs, and also providing new avenue of resources for the government. But all this can only be achieved if it’s done right.
